Template:More images Template:Levelbox Shifty Shrine is the first level of Special Episode in the Nintendo Switch version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. It was released on February 13, 2019 as an early bonus for players who have purchased the Special Episode DLC before its release on March 14 of the same year.
Layout
The level takes place in a shrine that begins to break apart and reform continuously.

Super Gems
Unlike in every level of the base game, the Super Gems in this level are purple-colored with white eyes, and they do not increase the Super Gem total on the game's level select screens.
- Super Gem 1: Inside a Pluck Patch within the rocky walls of the light-blue half of the shrine.
- Super Gem 2: Inside a tight walkway within the shrine, near a stack of Coins.
- Super Gem 3: Behind a Key Door near the top of the shrine. The player must toss the Key from one half of the shrine to the other.
Bonus objective
- Peeled 3 posters (NTSC)
- Took down 3 posters! (PAL)
Enemies
Trivia
- This is the first level where Captain Toad and Toadette are both playable at once using the "Adventure for Two" co-op mode added to the Nintendo Switch version of the game. In every previous level, the second player plays as a purple Toad Brigade member.
- This is the only level where a bonus objective is related directly to posters, and also the only time the game actively acknowledges these posters, as opposed to simply having them as small extras within levels.
