The 'Shroom Spotlight

Hello readers of The 'Shroom, and welcome to Spotlight. Spotlight is a community project which aims to fix up the articles on the wiki which have issues. These issues can range from poor writing, to a lack of images, to even just needing a credible source.

Welcome to March's Spotlight. Now, I'd like to start this off with a small request: could all of you who contribute, or plan to contribute to the project, then could you please PM a list of off your Mario-related media, or post it on my talk page? The reason I ask is not to pry, but because I believe that if I have this information, we can all make the Spotlight a more successful venture. This is because I will be able to tailor focuses like the rewrite-expand or stubs or wanted articles, or even images to things that are more likely to be covered. It's all well and good me choosing some obscure focus, but if people don't own this obscure piece it's unlikely to be fixed. So, either message me on my talkpage or, preferably, message me on the forums.

We were pretty successful last month. Sadly, Snot Bomb wasn't created, and Character Coin wasn't expanded, and although there are still many missing images for Game Over, Super Radio (talk) was able to upload an image for Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars. And although Time Turner (talk) did find a source for Propellerhead on Propeller Mushroom, there is another claim on the article that needs a source. So, if anyone has a Prima guide for New Super Mario Bros. U please put it in ASAP. Time Turner (talk) also fixed up the quality on File:MiiBRJet.jpg, and he's also fixed up all of the other poor quality images related to that image. Finally, YoshiFlutterJump (talk) got the images for Surfing Minigame.

And now onto this month's focuses, half of which have been suggested by other users:

Article Category Focuses
Canoeing
Wanted article
Yes, this event only has one sub-event (which needs to be created as well), but that doesn't hold it back from being created.
Crazy Kong
Stub article
It's absolutely crazy that this article has a section labelled "Differences", but lists no actual differences. Hopefully the differences between this game and Donkey Kong won't be driving me crazy at the end of the month.
Red Flagpole
Rewrite required
Red Flagpoles denote a secret exit, but reading this article makes me want to find an early exit. Plenty of yous, improper capitalisation, and just plain messy writing. And although it has no image template, it could definitely do with a lot more images.
Superball
Citation needed
The statement that needs a citation could easily be dismissed as speculation, but it may hold some water. Try and find a source, but if at the end of the month there's no proof, then it should be removed as speculation.
File:Subwarine.jpg
Image quality requested
Seeing as all this image needs is for the image to be removed, you shouldn't need to venture to the bottom of the ocean to find it. And, just to say, I am not looking for a cropped version of this image, I am looking for it to be recaptured.
Klepto
Articles that need more images
Even though Klepto is one of the most common recurring birds in the Mario series, there are barely any images on the page. A gallery at the bottom with his appearances, and a few more images in the Mario Party series should suffice.

Thanks for tuning in to the newest edition of The 'Shroom Spotlight! Be sure to turn up next month, where we'll be reviewing the progress on the above focuses. If you have any questions or suggestions about this month's set of article focuses, then please get in touch through the dedicated topic if you have a forum account. If not, then please contact myself on my wiki talk page. You are also welcome to make suggestions on what you think we could focus on in our next edition. Thank you, and good luck!
