This article is about Spinning Platforms of Doom, a level in New Super Mario Bros. U. For other uses, see Superstar Road-5.

Template:Levelbox Spinning Platforms of Doom, or Superstar Road-5, is the fifth course of Superstar Road in New Super Mario Bros. U. It is unlocked when the player collects every Star Coin in Soda Jungle.

Layout

The course's design is based off of Painted Swampland, and involves multiple moving platforms that simultaneously spin in a circle, with some guarded by Circling Boo Buddies.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: The first star coin is located between two platforms and Circling Boo Buddies. The player needs the Super Acorn to reach this.
  • Star Coin 2: Between two spinning platforms.
  • Star Coin 3: In a secret area in front of a blue Warp Pipe.
