The second appears as a projectile fired from a statue of a hawklike head, resembling a [[Mask Gate]]. The Bōtsu are shot in a straight line and cannot be stopped, unless they hit a wall. They also display a pair of tiny eyes, similar to Lava Bubbles from ''[[Super Mario World]]''. Also similar to Lava Bubbles, the Bōtsu projectiles flash white, meaning they are incandescent.
