Template:Minigame-infobox Twist 'n' Out is a Battle minigame found in Mario Party 5. Its name comes from the song, "Twist and Shout", which was popularized by The Beatles.

Introduction

The four players are standing in a flower-filled field as a Tweester flies around and creates a tornado that surrounds them.

Gameplay

This minigame consists of each player trying to hit the others into the tornado surrounding them with their hammer. When and where the hammer hits changes the direction the characters fly when knocked. The tornado also slowly gets smaller as time passes. The last player remaining is the winner.

Ending

Once someone wins, the tornado disappears as the Tweester flies away, and the losers fall from the sky confused. The cloudy day turns sunny and the winner does his or her winning dance.

Controls

  • Control Stick – Move
  • A Button – Swing Hammer

In-game text

  • Rules"Stay in the eye of the tornado, and don't get knocked outside. The last one standing wins."
  • Advice"Use the hammer to knock your opponents into the tornado. The direction they fly depends on when and where the hammer hits."
