Template:Kart-infobox The Bolt Buggy is a kart body part that appears in Mario Kart 7. It boosts speed, weight, and off-road, but its acceleration and handling are hindered during the process. It is one of the only five karts to increase off-road boost, with the other four being the Bumble V, Cact-X, Pipe Frame, and Tiny Tug. Also, the Bolt Buggy is tied with the B Dasher and Blue Seven for the lowest acceleration of all kart bodies.

This kart appear to be a rugged counterpart of the Pipe Frame intended for off-road use, with rigid bodywork, higher ground clearance and equipped with a pair of headlights.

Trivia

  • The Varmint, a bike body from Mario Kart 8, has a similar appearance to this kart piece.
  • The kart's engine sound implies that it's powered by a V-Twin, due to its distinct exhaust sound.
  • Despite having a similar shape to the Pipe Frame, their performances are mostly different.
