Hey there. Just a quick reminder that you aren't allowed to use notice templates such as construction on your userpage, as this categorizes your page and places it within Category:Articles under construction (which is reserved for mainspace articles only). Instead, you are welcome to copy the template's source (minus the category), if you wish to still show a construction notice.
Thanks for reading, and keep contributing.

theories
There is only one problem with the Bowser is King Boo theory. Bowser became Dry Bowser after he fell into lava. Why would this happen?
There are many problems with the Bowser Jr. is a clone theory. Why would Bowser create more clones (Bowser Imposters from Super Mario 3D Land, Dry Bowsers after Bowser revive)? Why would Bowser say that Peach is his mother and never tell him the truth? Why would he keep the Koopalings after Bowser Jr. was successful (for they come back ever after defeated)? What machine in both universes would be able to create a clone? Why would Bowser Jr. act differently in front of his paper counterpart? I want you to answer this on your main page. Talk pages are not normally the best places to talk about personal beliefs. There are forumas for that. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 23:05, 8 September 2016 (EDT)
- Lava seems to have different effects on Bowser than other things, which is probably why he hasn't been completely killed yet. Note that Bowser Jr./Kamek/The Koopalings are able to revive him after he falls into Lava. After they do, there are some oddities about Giant Bowser. In Wii, look at Bowser's hair. It seems to be glowing bright orange. Also, lava doesn't harm him anymore when he's giant. In 2, when he rears back for a claw swipe, his head goes into the shadows and you can see that his eyes are glowing orange. Besides that, he is able to summon lava. And in U, he has a claw swipe attack where his hands light on fire. All these suggest that Giant Bowser somehow has power over lava and that lava doesn't exactly have as negative effects on him, so it doesn't completely kill him. This is why a Bowser spirit doesn't appear when Bowser drops into lava, only Dry Bowser. However, there may have been an instance where Mario didn't use lava to defeat him, so he was completely killed.
- To answer your other questions: There's another theory that I should post that's by a friend of mine so that this makes total sense, but basically, there are many different Mario universes (explaining some lacks of continuity). 3D Land and World seem to take place in a universe where Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings don't exist, so Bowser is still making Bowser Impostors. Bowser telling Junior that Peach is his mother was just for Sunshine; the truth was revealed to Junior at the end. Why would Bowser not keep the Koopalings? They're not a genius and they aren't complete clones like Bowser Jr, but they are decent minions. In Mario Pat DS, Bowser seems to be able to make machines like Bowser Jr., so he could probably make a cloning machine. I'm not sure what you mean by acting differently in front of his paper counterpart. They both seem like the same bratty, but technologically ingenious jerk. And for the last one, User Talk Pages are different from other talk pages. (That, and I don't have a forum account). Ultimate Mr. L (talk) 12:04, 9 September 2016 (EDT)
- I see your point. Lava turned Bowser into Dry Bowser only in New Super Mario Bros. and Mario Party 10.
- As for the theory of parallel universes, I do believe that they exist. Mario and Luigi universe and Paper Mario universe were together in Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam. However, these two are the only ones that are confirmed. And by judging how creating these works, their would have been games which would have not existed in certain time lines. Small time line differences are created by the players. Big time line differences are created by time travel. One example is Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time which caused three different time lines to happen. Time Travel also created the Paper Mario universe from Mario and Luigi universe (Bowser knew that he would fail and decided not to go back in time, but doing so cause Mario RPG to happen and latter Paper Mario. Not much is known about the time in between. But that means, what happened with Yoshi's New Island time line differences? The only explanation is that Bowser went back in time to fix the time line to what he remembers. But this means that the time line splits from that try possibly. It is enough that time lines could split. But trying to figure out which games appeared in the time lines is kind of difficult. But, assuming that it is after Super Mario 64, Super Mario Bros. 3 appeared in both. It may be that Bowser found Bowser Jr. in the time line after he changed it in Yoshi's New Island and never did tell him his mother all because he never knew Bowser Jr. mother. which would mean that Bowser from that time line would have became something else if not set to the Underwhere. Also, I found another technique to create clones. It was a bubble machine (Mario Party: Island Tour) which is very accurate, but not 100%. The clones where of Mario and co. and Bowser Jr. So try to figure this out. Also, I thought the best place for you to put the info was your main page. One more thing, Bowser and Paper Bowser never did get along when they met. Bowser Jr. and Paper Bowser Jr. started not liking each other but soon liked each other. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 13:28, 9 September 2016 (EDT)
After a while, I seem to find myself accepting the Bowser and King Boo are the same. The only time this is false is when they both appear together (I am not counting the Luigi's Mansion series.) I am not going to proclaim it like you are though.
As for the Bowser Jr. is a clone theory, I can't find myself buying it. The first point of the theory is not hard core. I actually know somebody when that person was young looked like that person's child. As for people that neither think that Bowser Jr. is a clone nor think that Bowser Jr. is Bowser's actual son, they think that Bowser Jr. is Bowser. Obviously the third option is more flawed than your theory when it comes to Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam. If you want to try to convince me that Bowser Jr. is a clone, do it on my talk page. Put "RE: theories" down. Why? This is only practice. Practice for talk pages/talk page proposals that require you to stand on your words.
Also, the reason why you shouldn't put personal information on the internet is because whatever you put something up on the internet, it will stay there even if you try very hard to get rid of it. There will be someone who will copy that information and put it back on without your notice.
Now, before I go, I want your opinion on Wario. Bazooka Mario is the leader of the ones who try to exterminate (eg. showing him losing) Wario. I am not going to do that. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 00:04, 12 September 2016 (EDT)
- OK then. The Koopa Clone Theory isn't as good as the Bowser Boo Theory. As for Wario, the only time I think about him is when I hear the Bowser's Castle theme from Mario Kart 8. It sounds like a Wario theme. Other than that, no comment. I've read about the Wario campaign. I'll just stay out of it. Ultimate Mr. L (talk) 10:30, 12 September 2016 (EDT)
Image Quality
Special:ListFiles/Ultimate Mr. L/Archive 1, you uploaded a Super Paper Mario image from a YouTube video. I replaced it and updated the text to go along with the image. I suggest emulation to get your screenshots for future uploads. See here. Also the image was missing an game image category. That was corrected and you should see info here about how to do that. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 00:56, 9 September 2016 (EDT)
- You should really consider an emulator with future screenshot uploads. User:Wildgoosespeeder/sandbox --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 14:52, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
Image Category Reminder
Hello, Ultimate Mr. L. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the aboutfile template, replacing the uncategorized template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: or Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
Special:ListFiles/Ultimate Mr. L/Archive 1, you uploaded several images forgetting to add an additional category, notably for Category:Paper Mario: Color Splash Images. Alex95 (talk) and I fixed that for you. Be sure to do that next time. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:26, 19 September 2016 (EDT)
- Whoops! Sorry about that. Still learning about image uploads. By the way, you might as well delete the Color Splash images. I uploaded them, then discovered there were already better ones. I need to be more careful. File:Mr L Render.png Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 15:29, 19 September 2016 (EDT)
- It's OK. As long as you make an effort next time to do what is asked of you when you upload. Tag the images you think should be deleted with delete. Be sure to edit pages appropriately that link to the file pending deletion. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:33, 19 September 2016 (EDT)
Thanks for listening putting the category into your newest upload. One thing though. It is best to put the category outside aboutfile. I did that. No warning or reminder for that. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 14:49, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
- This is my fault for not telling you but you should specify what file is better that warrants another image for deletion. Example:
:File:IggyColorSplash.png

Future Games
Are you interested in the game: Paper Mario: Color Splash? Or are you just helping it out? What are your thoughts about that game? Will you be one of those who puts that article together once it is released to the general public? I know that I would do it if the Wii U wasn't so expensive, at least I think I would. Who knows? Don't answer that last one. Yoshi the SSM (talk)
- I probably won't end up getting the game, as the plot looks like it'll be just as dumb, if not dumber, than Sticker Star. The only hope for a better plot is the Black Paint. Peach said that Bowser was acting strange. Maybe the Black Paint is actually a living entity that is controlling Bowser. Perhaps it'll be similar to the plot of the fan-game, Super Mario 63. Have you played it? Bowser uses an ancient relic called the Orb of Power in hoes that it will help him take over the Mushroom Kingdom, but the Orb seems to have a will of its own and Bowser ends up trying to destroy the planet rather than conquer it. Think the Black Paint may the be the equivalent to the Orb of Power? I hope so, but maybe it's just wishful thinking. The latest Mario RPGs have been pretty bad. Nonetheless, I'm on the watch for new info on the game. File:Mr L Render.png Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 16:08, 19 September 2016 (EDT)
- I have played Super Mario 63, but I didn't know what it was called. Although it is possible for the black paint to be separate, that's not the only choice. It could be a clone like your theory of the Bowser Jr. is a clone, but not in the same method as Bowser Jr. would be if that theory was true. Another theory is that the black Bowser is just someone in disguise. Out of the three, which one do you think makes a better story? I am also hoping that they will include Bowser Jr.'s mother in this game somewhere, but to you, if your theory is right, that would mean that they are from the same machine, unless Paper Bowser shows the machine as separate from the machine the machine that made Bowser. The machine clone theory means that the clone got the black paint, not Bowser, unless Bowser used it to make that clone and that clone turned out to be black. No matter what Nintendo does, I believe that Bowser's normal pose will be in the game. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 16:21, 19 September 2016 (EDT)
I see it on your user page. But, according to my statics, it won't be worst than Sticker Star, so the image may be wrong unless it really is that horrible. What are your thoughts on Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild? Or have you even heard of it? (With the many rumors out there and it being at E3 and it is a first party game for a new system, it would be surprising that you don't know it.) Yoshi the SSM (talk) 18:53, 19 September 2016 (EDT)
- I don't play Zelda games.File:Mr L Render.png Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 18:55, 19 September 2016 (EDT)
- I have only played three of the Zelda games. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 19:00, 19 September 2016 (EDT)
- Although it does seem weird that you have seen Brawl, sort of remember Melee, and played Wii U, yet you don't play Zelda games. The characters of Zelda along with other games appeared in that game. Although, I once did play Brawl (I don't anymore) and I haven't played Kirby or Fire Emblem. By the way, do you look forward to playing the Nintendo NX? Yoshi the SSM (talk) 21:48, 19 September 2016 (EDT)
- I know a little bit about Zelda, but I'm not really interested. And yes, I look forward to the Nintendo NX. A question for you: Do you think the Mario series is losing its edge?File:Mr L Render.png Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 10:26, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
- I honestly don't know. If you want to, you can put the games you want Nintendo to do on the NX (It will most likely not have U in the names of the games; the only exception is that the system has backwards capatity). By the way, do you know how and why Super Mario 63 is on the computer? (I will tell you why I'm asking after you respond.) Yoshi the SSM (talk) 11:45, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
- I would assume because it's not an official game. I wonder how they got permission from Nintendo.File:Mr L Render.png Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 12:54, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
- The owner of Super Mario 63 went to Nintendo. He wanted it put on the Wii. Nintendo denied it (for it would of caused a confliction with the Super Mario Series), but they suggested he put it online and told him how to do it. You can ask Nintendo if they can put one of your games on a console. Even if Nintendo denies it, they will suggest another option for which you can put your games on. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 13:06, 20 September 2016 (EDT)

Personal Images
Were you trying to use File:King Ka Thunk Battle.PNG and File:Kretin Battle.PNG as personal images? You linked them to your profile only before I repurposed them. We have a policy for that (MarioWiki:Personal images). From what I can see, the images you uploaded could be and is being used on their main articles. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 20:41, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
- Well, I did get the idea for them when I realized I wanted them for my userpage, but I thought they could be useful elsewhere. They aren't edited or anything, so I though "Hey, I can help the Wiki and my userpage. Convenient!" Though I guess I should have thought to put them on the corresponding pages. *Smacks forehead* Oops!File:Mr L Render.png Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 20:46, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
- No worries. For File:King Ka Thunk Battle.PNG, did you know you can get 1280x720 screenshots uploaded by playing Wii U games live? As you play, open the built-in web browser, navigate to MarioWiki (or any website that allows for uploads), go to Special:Upload (or click upload a new version of this file if the file already exists on MarioWiki), and then click browse. A special dialog pops-up with two images; top image being your TV screen and the bottom image being the game pad. That's how I uploaded File:SM3DWBaddieBox.jpg. The screenshots are limited to JPEG and MarioWiki won't allow you to upload JPEGs over PNGs (or any mismatched file type for that matter due to MIME types). MarioWiki might display in mobile mode when loading MarioWiki on the Wii U. Just switch to desktop view by scrolling all the way down the webpage. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 00:51, 21 September 2016 (EDT)

User Page Improvement
This is the section where anyone can make a comment of how he can improve his user page. I was thinking that you should put a top 10 list of favorite characters or just a list of favorite characters. It is nice to know who is on the top. I personally haven't thought about it that much on my article, but then again, I don't even know what characters will be on that list. I do have a favorites list. You could do something like that if you don't what to do a favorite character list. Whatever you do, it will go nice near the favorite bosses. Also, once you beat Shadoo, you should put him in your article somewhere #Flopside Pit of 100 Trials twice in one profile. Yoshi the SSM (talk)
- Ok then. I'm trying not to have more userpage edits than real edits, but now that I look at my Editcount, I see I don't have anything to worry about. Once I beat Flopside Pit of 100 Trials, I was going to add it to my Userbox and then add him to my favorite bosses (he isn't there now because I'm only putting bosses I've fought there.)File:Mr L Render.png Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 21:40, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
- You have to beat all 90 floors (9 are enemy free and I'm not counting them) twice in a single save file before you can fight Shadoo. And by the way, in your preferences, you should place in the "Signature" box. This way, when you sign comments the template will appear, and not the raw coding. Like my sig. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 21:44, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
- Yes, I know. That's insane. You have to have a lot of game time on your hands to beat the Pits.File:Mr L Render.png Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 21:46, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
- Here's what I did with the main person that I played with was Luigi: Beat the game, gathered all pixls, beat the Duel of 100, beat Flipside Pit, then the Flopside Pit was a lot easier than when you have first time access to the Flopside Pit or just beat the game and Flipside pit. It was still a little hard. If you want, I can give you a copy of what to expect in the Flopside Pit. It can be really helpful. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 21:53, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
- Last time I tried it, I died on floor 66 to a Dark Chomp. I'm thinking I need a little boost. Next time I try, I'll level a few times first by replaying levels (I've tried the Duel of 100 and I'm just going to do that after Flopside Pit). I also found out that it's super easy to make an Emergency Ration, so I'll have Dyllis make a few of those. I have a lot of items, but none as good as the all-mighty Emergency Ration.File:Mr L Render.png Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 21:59, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
- Speaking of Emergency Rations, do you agree it would have been more interesting if, instead of refilling 50 HP in Pits of 100 Trials and 10 everywhere else, they refilled 50 HP when the player is critical and 10 everywhere else? I actually thought that's what I did because I first saw one used when a player was critical.File:Mr L Render.png Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 22:00, 20 September 2016 (EDT)
- Leveling up is a good idea. Since you have Dashell, you can grab a Shell Shock and use it in Level 8-4 at the very beginning (before you moving in the level) to get a lot of points. I don't know whether it is the pits or critical stat. I don't know which would be cooler though, but using it when critical will mean that you use it more. Anyway, I never did use Emergency Rations when I went down. I used Shroom Steaks for 70+ and Dyllis Deluxes for 90+. They are expessive options, but they do help when you have a lot of HP you can fill yourself with. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 22:20, 20 September 2016 (EDT)

Applying Transparency/White To Images
What you did with File:SM64DS Angry Wiggler.png (source) and File:SM64DS Wiggler.png, it turned out blurry. Keep the original resolution of the image you are editing. No resizing, especially from smaller to bigger. That way, no blur occurs during editing. Super Paper Mario
I've never played a Mario RPG before, but recently I have become interested in Super Paper Mario because it looks like it has a cool plot and cool characters. Would you recommend it as a good first RPG to play? Earlier I said I haven't played any Mario RPGs, but now that I think about it, I've never played any RPG. I'd just like to know your thoughts on the matter. -- (talk · edits) 18:04, 27 September 2016 (EDT)

Judging from you're userpage, you haven't played any of the other Mario and Luigi games. Do you know if they're generally considered better or worse than Bowser's Inside Story? -- (talk · edits) 14:06, 28 September 2016 (EDT)
