"Water" Mario, I think isn't the right word to describe it. I think "Full Mario" or "Water-filled Mario" are better fits, because "Water Mario" implies that Mario is made of water or can shoot water. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 23:53, 4 April 2014 (EDT)
- Well, maybe. I (launched the page and) wasn't really sure about what to call this, but it seemed like an appropriate enough name. Pseudo-dino (talk) 00:01, 5 April 2014 (EDT)
- I'm going for "Water-filled Mario", but if you come up with anything better, you can do that as well. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 00:22, 5 April 2014 (EDT)
- I prefer Water Mario to Water-filled Mario; yours just doesn't sound like a power-up name to me. Also, he actually can shoot water indirectly through Luigi. I wish I could come up with something better, I'm sorry. Pseudo-dino (talk) 03:02, 5 April 2014 (EDT)
- How is THAT a power-up? --Metalex123 (talk) 18:44, 9 June 2014 (EDT)

Official name?
The Super Mario-Kun manga has consistently and repeatedly refer to this move, when Baby Mario is using it, as ベビィポンプ (Baby Pump). Sawada usually doesn't invent names for moves and enemies, so maybe that can be applied to this article? You know, call it "Pump Mario" or something. It's me, Mario! - Pump Mario isn't a good mame, I would go for Water-filled Mario TSUNAMI
- we're not asking if its a good name or nit, we're asking itf its appropriarte to use thisname.from this manga, which is frequently correct when it comes.to naming things (and counts as official media too I think) Ray Trace(T|C) 16:32, 18 September 2014 (EDT)
- It's the closest thing we've got to an official name, so we should use it. One question, though: wouldn't "Pump Mario" still be unofficial, since the name from the manga is "Baby Pump"? Using that name would also be incorrect, since adult Mario can also be pumped with water. Any way you could find out if adult Mario gets a name? Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- we have the partners in time manga (well only one of them out of the three part.arc) but unfortunately that's all we got in relation to this article since only Baby Mario uses that attack in the game (so of course, the manga covers only the Baby Mario version). Thats the best we can do until someone or us obtains the manga where the form DOES appear in Ray Trace(T|C) 17:19, 18 September 2014 (EDT)

Move
I suggest we move this page to either Bebī Ponpu or Baby Pump (depending on whether the Japanese text uses English words, as per policy). We have an official name, so it is not acceptable to use a conjectural name. We should, however, keep the partconjecture tag, as this official Japanese name does not cover the adult Mario form.
