I have never seen piantas on the center island.

I haven't seen them in the Wii version. Bspald95 22:12, 8 July 2012 (EDT)
There are none on the island. I even checked by doing the course all modes, grand prix, versus and multiplayer. Piantas are on the boat.

Not "stones"
I am not exactly sure what they are meant to be, but the objects thrown are clearly some kind of fruit, most like durians. 24.139.200.223 17:11, 24 September 2015 (EDT)
