Template:Worldbox World 1 is the first world in the game Super Mario Bros. Special, located in the Mushroom Kingdom. The world is largerly similiar to World 1 from the original game, although there are major differences, mostly the levels being longer. The world is located mostly in a grassland setting.

Level Preview Description
World 1-1 1-1 from SMB Special The first course in the game. The main enemies in this course are Goombas and Koopa Troopas. You can find the Hudson Bee here.
World 1-2 1-2 from SMB Special The first underground course in the game. Unlike 1-2 from the original game, it doesn't have any warp zone. It features multiple enemies.
World 1-3 1-3 from SMB Special The first treetop course in the game. It contains a few Koopa Paratroopas, but is significantly longer than 1-3 from Super Mario Bros.
World 1-4 1-4 from SMB Special The first Castle course in the game. It features many Fire Bars and a Goomba as the Bowser Impostor.
