The Brute is the main non-standard vehicle used by Wario in the races of Mario Kart DS. The kart is a checker-boarded black jalopy, resembling a 1950s American two-door sedan. It has great speed, average acceleration, weight, handling and drift, and low items. The Cucumber, the Power Flower and the 4-Wheel Cradle share a similar weight to the Brute. It's one of the fastest karts in the game. It also has the same handling as the Light Tripper and its drifting with the Dry Bomber. The Brute bears a resemblance to the Wario Car, from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. Wario's artwork in the car is even the same as his Mario Kart: Double Dash!! artwork, though without Waluigi in the back. It is the lightest kart within the heavyweight class.
