Special items
I, ve been noting that "Suspicious items" section talks about personal items that only one captain's team can only obtain and other cannot obtain. i'm watching game's video to seek more about. Bomba¥ Du¢k I can't wait having this awesome game!!!
Hi, Collector! I rewrote this article, and I'm really glad to have your help! Did you see the video on IGN.com yet? If not, I will post a link for you. In that video, I thought Donkey Kong earned the item? If he did, it would mean that the Letter M item can be collected by other characters than Mario. I'll have to take another look. Also, where did you get your information about the effects on Mario from? I would like to read up more on this game! Talk to you soon! --Stumpers
Bowser Jr.
Has he been confirmed? The article before I "Stumpified" it had him listen as confirmed, but that was my only source. --Stumpers
Sorry Stumpers, but Bowser Jr. has not been mentioned in sources, in spite of his silhouette seen in characters's select screen :( Bomba¥ Du¢k You'll be sure soon! ;)
When I get a chance I'll mention the shadow thingie in the paragraph below, then. Then we'll lie in wait to move it back up... mwa, ha, ha! --Stumpers
FA
I think it's FA quality, but I can't nominate it until it's released, what a shame. A dissapointed fan of Yoshi
I think I speak for both myself and CoinCollector when I say... VIRTUAL HUG!!!! I love you... in a platonic way. Don't worry. When it is released, be sure to come back! :3 --Stumpers, who is dancing inside!
I'm glad to listen this nomination :)...
Now, I have another data about bowser: When performing his mega strike, spikes bristle of his back, then, he slashes the ball toward the goal. This info was seen on a spanish languaje source:
it's a video. €zloVery interesting, and what a cool new!
Wow! You keep on coming back with new information! I think you should add it! --Stumpers
Revising the Character Section
Hey, everyone. I was wondering if this would be a better format for each character. Here's an example for Mario. Of course, we'd have to be sure to note in the section that the special attack and items are still speculation. Let me know what you think!
Mario
- Introduction: Mario jumps down from the sky as a short electric guitar tune plays.
- Jersey: Red
- Play Style: unconfirmed
- Mega Strike: Mario turns metal before kicking the ball.
- Special Attack: Unknown
- Special Item: Speculated to be the “M” Emblem.
Feel free to start editing if you like it! You can easily copy the style by going to the edit tab and copying, but you probably already knew that. I'm thinking htat maybe the name should go above the picture... if you think so, just move the image link down below the name and above the Introduction, and it will look fine. Maybe the picture should be on the right, too... well, give me some feedback! See you again soon! --Stumpers
OK, let me see...
It's nice, although I guess that a thumbnailed (or framed) picture take out that aesthetic. maybe, but only maybe, those images don't would need to have a frame.
now, I wanna do the same thing for the super mario strikers character list section (but i can't think to how i do), and make a characters's info template, however, i can't finish this.
€zloArgggh!
I think I'm going to be away from the Wiki this next week, by the way. Anyway, I'll play around with it when I get the chance. Maybe I'll become inspired or something. But I doubt that. :) --Stumpers
Recent Revisions
I appreciate that people are still interested in the article and finding new information, but the current revision removes actual information (theme songs) and adds in what appears to be speculation (do we know about Luigi, Yoshi, and special moves/items for real yet?). Can someone add in some sources to prove that it's not? Also, the neutrality of the article has been hurt in the character section, in my opinion. Sure, we all love the cast of Mario characters, but this is about a video game and should be writen as such. It reads more like a press release now.
Can someone please give the sources for Luigi and Yoshi's inclusion? Is it more of the shaded character screen stuff? If so, that should go in the paragraph below the characters for the sake of continuity and specification of what is known and what is highly likely. Yeah, it stinks, but we should try to keep them separated.
Anyway, I hope someone can post here and prove me wrong. I really hope that we got some new information in, but I haven't seen it! As to the actual writing of the new revisions, it's solid and gramatically correct. Kudos! --Stumpers, who's being a big jerk
This game is being produced in europe, most of the sources that are talkin' about are in european websites, ha-ha! Dais¥
Yay for Europe! Hmm... well, I suppose that means I'll just have to start checking out some of these sites, too. :) Thanks, guys! Stumpers, the American who has a thing against America

Looks like that there are more images, info and news about our waited characters. Yoshi and Luigi have been clearly confirmed, and some characters, Daisy, Bowser Jr., Diddy Kong will be confirmed soon! (except Super Team...)
Besides, looks like Kritters could suffer some items or gimmicks effects too, as the whole team! |

Removing Information
Someone... not to name names ;) has been removing information from the character section, leaving (in my opinion) uninformative lists. If there's information about a character, can we please leave it? The point of having the Wiki is to provide detailed information. To remove it seems... unfair.--Stumpers
Information in General
Ok we need to stop mentioning where information is begin confirmed from. Its good to have a resource section at the end of the page but we don't need to have a resource for every bit of information that source provided. It just isn't necessary. Also, once all of the characters mega strikes and super abilities are confirmed we need to make actual separate articles about them with templates like other Mario games do for special moves. One more thing, once the US art is released we need to put it at the top where the uk art is but keep the uk art in the art/logos section. I hope to see improvements soon :) User:Fixitup
- You're right Fixitup, but we need those sources to show to our public (and sysops, obviously) where were found that info. besides, let me make mega strikes template, but when they have set the characters's mega strike names. €zlo
- Mhm, yes that's fine but still. From my experience on MarioWiki the only time these sources have been provided to the fact is when a game is new and filled with exploding information (i.e this page and MP8) so right now it's fine but, when the games out and about it should require some tweaking. User:Fixitup
- True, because then we'll have first-hand knowledge, but for now, it's fine. As more people show features, characters, etc., we could start removing sources, too. Very good point. --Stumpers
weird changes
Man, looks like that captains's special items have been shown like captains's heads. I don't know, but the double "M" item should be removed by this cause? €zloI saw that Dk has his "head" item
That's not too creative... oh, well. I'll bet Mario is the same way. The only way we'll know is if some European review site tells us in their review or if someone here lives in Europe and has a Wii and buys this game. Ugh... for America it's still TBA!!! --Stumpers
- grabs your foot and flings you to Europe* BRING BACK CRUMPETS! 3D, and some tea to wash them down!
- Weeeeeeee! I wonder if I can go clubbing while I'm there, too... Hmmm... Here's my Shopping List
- Mario Strikers Charged Football
- European Wii (stupid region coding...)
- Crumpets
- Hot Sweedish Babes EDIT: And some for Smiddle, too!
- The Paris Hilton (the hotel, you sicko!)
- EDIT: English Butter
--Stumpers
Pervert. Anyway, Smiddle has first dibs on Swedish babes. xD 3D, mmmm! AND BRING BACK SOME ENGLISH BUTTER!
I think it's perverted that you would give him first dibs on Swedish babes. But, okay. I'll just be sure to get a bunch then. My girl-gathering powers are unmatched :) --Stumpers
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! NO MORE WOOT! 3D, enough already.
How are you supposed to get that? You know, Europe is bigger than one may think. Caps Lock LORD 04:23, 30 April 2007 (EDT)
Ok, Ok! what we are talking about here? About the game or about europe? €zloI want to travel belgium...
Well, we're talking about Europe, but we SHOULD be talking about the game... fine. I'll be quiet. T_T <-- that's a sad face. --Stumpers
Ok; I think i was some serius. however, one of my best tip is waiting a wile until the game was launched. but not only the game, but waiting a bonus pack having the wii, some controls, and, ta-da! the video-game with it. €zlo.
Yoshi's Mega Strike
Can someone give me a video of Yoshi's Mega Strike? Thanks.--YOSHIANDLINK1 18:08, 11 May 2007 (EDT)
As far as I know we've only seen Yoshi in screenshots and short video segments. You might have to wait for the game's release for that! :( --Stumpers
The NA release is july 2,2007:F g
- Have you any source that talks about it? Bomba¥ Du¢k
Go to www.gamespot.com and search for mario strikers charged.F g
Okay, here ya go. Go to [1], hit Strikers from the menu at the top, and you'll see what looks like a space for Yoshi's MegaStrike (yes, it's one word in the Euro version at least). Anyway, it's coming soon, so keep checking that site. --Stumpers, who's planning major revisions.
Great Work
I'd like to give a nice hand to Coincollector, Fixitup, and Stumpers for making this article great, the work you three put into getting all the information you can is greatly appreciated by me and others on the wiki. Good Job and Keep it up!. XzelionThis article is great!.ETC
Bios, Hammer Bros. Artwork, etc.
Okay... I get everything I talked about with Fixitup, but why do we have to remove information all the time? Please read before you delete. If you do, you'll be able to move around information as you see fit without removing information from the Wiki. It's like you're hurting the Wiki in an attempt to make it better.
It would really be great if people would stop deleting things I spend hours working on just because they have some stylistic problem with it. My goal here is to provide information on this game. We should give everything we know about the game and not determine what is important about the game and what is not, even if not all information about a subject is not revealed.
Okay, and the Hammer Bros. thing? What's wrong with it acting as a placeholder for when the final art is up? If someone has a problem with the background attached to it, they can take it off themselves and upgrade it on the image's page. It's very easy to do if you have the right program.
Sorry to be aggressive, but this has gone on repeatedly and I'm ticked. Someone write back, please. --User:Stumpers

Japanese name wins, who cares if It's released first in Europe??? Max2 (talk)
Plus, since we're arguing about people who care about soccer, why can't we argue about who cares about the game? America historically moves more Nintendo products than Europe. Just as a question, do all the European nations use Mario Strikers Charged Football as the name? --Stumpers
- God forbid that this Wiki doesn't force everything to be based on the NA title - and, no, you're not arguing for the usage of the Japanese title - if that were so, you'd have moved it to the official Japanese title. In Europe, the first region they are releasing this game in, the region where the sport is the most popular, it's known as Mario Strikers Charged Football. Looking at the first game, the attach ratio for Strikers was much, much higher in Europe than it was in NA. - A Link to the Past 18:10, 16 May 2007 (EDT)
- And yes, every single nation of Europe calls it that, but in their official language. As well, Australia calls it that. - A Link to the Past 18:10, 16 May 2007 (EDT)
- Okay, let me tell you something. You just argued your point well there in your second post. Not so much the first. Please do so on your talk page before this turns into a flame war. Regardless, I think Max's point is that the Japanese version has the same name as the American version, just in Japanese. I don't know if that's true or not, btw.--Stumpers
- Let's meet half-way - keep at English title, use football over soccer. - A Link to the Past 19:23, 16 May 2007 (EDT)
- First of, the games' names never get translated into anything. Only subtitles do. It will be called Mario Strikers Charged Football in German, too, as it was with all previous games. (I think, Mario & Luigi Partners in Time was the first to have translated names). Anyway, all over the wiki, the articles are filed under their American name, and it should be used as a guideline here, too, to avoid confusion. Go with Mario Strikers Charged. - Cobold

Rank
Didn't we get a Tanooki suit rank? Then, I think it was Link to the Past, someone made it a Mushroom, but there was never a review that said it was a Mushroom. Anyway, I reposted the Tanooki thing, but that got taken down... well, anyway, long story short, where are we right now? What's this article's rank? --Stumpers
- The assessment isn't finished. On top of that, Wayoshi said that an unreleased game should never receive anything higher than a B. - A Link to the Past 23:22, 16 May 2007 (EDT)

Petey Piranha

Where is the source to all of it's info, and are there and pictures?-- Aipom --
It's IGN. That's as close to Nintendo as we're going to get. Plus, it was from a play test. Now we've had additional info suppled about it. I don't know the source for that, because I didn't write it, but I would put money on his inclusion if I were you. I was really hoping we'd get to see the robot team or a varient upon them again, but I guess not ;( --Stumpers PS I corrected the spelling :)

classic stadiums
I don't know, but 'classic' stadiums has their own article. so, why set their info in this article if they have their own?
- PD: besides, all the seven stadiums has the same course element. too many repeated info to be a large article...:|
Very true. IGN.com UK's review says that each one has been updated. This probably is just graphically, but maybe with gameplay, too? In any case, I think it would be worth noting the universal stadium element at the top of the Classic section, then remove it from the sub articles. I want to leave the information in there, though. I think when someone plays the game, though, we should cut the mini-articles down to only reflect information from this game. Right now, the information is largely from Strikers. --Stumpers
Poll: Soccer or Football
Hey, guys. I could honestly see this arguement go either way, but should we use the term football or soccer in this article? I know it's under the American name, so I would think soccer, but then again soccer is football. It's just that people have been changing all of the words to either football or soccer, so it appears we need to vote. Normally, I'd just say, "Hey, the person who writes it should decide," but regardless, some guy will come and "correct" it. So which way do we go? --Stumpers
Use "Soccer"
