The Chain Chomp Capsule made its only appearance in Mario Party 5, where it could be thrown to a space on the board, or used on the player for fifteen coins. When somebody lands on a space containing this capsule, a Chain Chomp appears. He steals coins from opponents for free, and a Star for thirty coins. This is like Boo from past Mario Party games, but he works cheap and doesn't steal many coins either.
