Official artwork of a Torion.

A Torion is a fast-moving, carnivorous fish in the game Super Mario Land. They are weak against the Marine Pop's torpedoes and are defeated after only one successful hit. However, they would only award Mario with a mere 100 points each. Torions are found only in World 2-3 of the Muda Kingdom, the Marine Pop's level. For some reason, Torions always swim in groups of three. According to the instruction manual of Super Mario Land, Honens are undead Torion that were claimed to have been eaten by Tatanga. Torion's appearances are conflicted because in one official artwork, Torions don't have dorsal fins while another artwork depicts a Torion with a dorsal fin.
