Karbines are small owl-like creatures encountered in the game Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble.
Karbines are the main obstacles in the level "Fire-Ball Frenzy" in the area Mekanos, this is also the only level they are found in. Karbines do not attack Dixie or Kiddy Kong directly, instead they rely on large cannons they carry which shoot large fireballs at the Kongs. Karbines can not be defeated in any way, they can only be avoided.
Karbines did not appear in Donkey Kong Country 3's semi-sequel Donkey Kong Land 3.
Trivia
- It is unknown if Karbines have any affiliation with the Kremling Krew; though it is possible they do as they weild cannons similar to the ones the Kremling Krew soldiers Bazukas do.
