Ken the Reporter is a recurring character from the WarioWare series. He first appears in WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania, and he could actually be considered the cause of the entire WarioWare series, as he is the one who broadcasts the newsflash telling how the creators of Pyoro had made millions because of the videogame, inspiring Wario to create his own games. He later appears at the end of 9-Volt's level, telling the world that the Game Boy Advance SP is available for purchase. He finally appears at the end of the game, broadcasting Wario's success via television. He makes subsequent appearances throughout the other WarioWare games, most recently hosting the countdown to the launch of the rocket ship at the launch site in WarioWare D.I.Y..

Although he is a humanoid dog (like Dribble), he does not have the same design as the bulldog-like cab-driver. He looks more like a dog from an old-fashioned cartoon rather than an actual humanoid. He is one of the only recurring WarioWare characters that does not have his own level.

Trivia

  • Ken (犬) is a word that means dog in Japanese.
