- The soundtrack from the NES version of Dr. Mario (pictured) was made available on the Nintendo Music app on March 17, 2025.
- On March 13, 2025, Nintendo San Francisco was announced to have its grand opening on May 15, 2025.
- On MAR10 Day, a Super Mario Bros. theme was released for Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo, which also became available for purchase in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. Nintendo also revealed a "Mario & Standard Kart" Mario Kart set for the LEGO Super Mario toy line, which is set to be released on May 15, 2025.

Super Mario Land is a 2D action-adventure platform game for the Game Boy, first released as a launch title in 1989. It is the first Super Mario game released for a handheld console and the fifth entry in the series. In Japan, it is recognized as the fourth. Unlike previous installments, the game was not developed by Shigeru Miyamoto and Nintendo EAD, but by Nintendo R&D1, with Gunpei Yokoi as guiding producer. Super Mario Land takes place in Sarasaland rather than the Mushroom Kingdom, and introduces Princess Daisy, a new character serving as the damsel-in-distress in place of Princess Peach. Tatanga, a malevolent alien with powers of hypnosis, serves as both the main antagonist and final boss.
- In Super Mario Party Jamboree, the items used in Messy Memory can be seen in a store display in Rainbow Galleria (pictured).
- The Eggplant Wizard from Kid Icarus is a tribute to the Eggplant Men from Wrecking Crew.
- A glitch in Super Mario Sunshine allows Mario to swim in Corona Mountain's lava.
- In the Mario Kart 64 version of Big Donut, there are two Item Boxes placed underneath the course.
