Is it possible that Hooktail faked her death in a last ditch attempt to escape Mario? I think she did. When you are talking to Koopley, Hooktail's foot keeps moving. When you come back, Hooktail's body is gone. There is no way Ms. Mowz, or anyone for that matter, could have dragged Hooktail's body out of the castle. If she is still alive, and finds out about what Mario did to Gloomtail, and Bonetail, she may seek revenge..............

Yes but unlikely for Nintendo to do that. Also Bonetail and Gloomtail disappear too. Paper Jorge

Gloomtail could have busted a hole in the ceiling, and used it to escape.

There seems to be no way that Bonetail could escape from the Pit of 100 Trials.

Hooktails dead. Some people/animals keep twitching after they die. They don't stop until all the nerves shut down.

Yup. Someone knows their autonomics.Mada Mada Dane

Still brings to question where Hooktail's body went after he was defeated, even Goombella asks that; I guess if he was created through magic or something, he could have just disintegrated. -- Sir Grodus
