- ““You got bad luck, getting matched up against us.””
- —Spinia, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Template:Pmenemybox Spinias are creatures made of thin, papery discs in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Since they usually appear in groups, the Multibounce Badge or Quake Hammer move will come in handy. Two Spinias also appear in Chapter 3 where they help make up the Glitz Pit team the Destructors who served as a replacement for Bandy Andy who had "retired"

The unused Spinia with a hamburger bun.
- The name Spinia derives from Spin, the creature's trademark action, and a corruption of ya, a slang form of you.
- Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door's programming reveals what could possibly be another Spinia sub-species (seemingly a hamburger-themed one); even more surprising is that this Spinia-like creature was supposedly going to be an ally of Luigi, as its sprite could be found next to those of Luigi's other partners.
- Spinias, as well as Spanias and Spunias, may have been the basis for a similar enemy known as the Topmen.
- In the Tattle Log, there's no space in between "HP" and "3" for Spinia.
