Santa, Santa Claus for long is said to be the one who gives presents to kids in Christmas. He appears in some Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episodes.
In a live action segment he goes to the Mario Bros. Plumbing house because his sled got stolen. And in a cartoon show where King Koopa kidnaps him.
In Rock TV, an episode of the Super Mario World animated series, Mario remembers an outlandish phone bill he got back in Brooklyn from calling the "Speak to Santa Hotline."
The Hollijolli Mayor in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time resembles him.
Also, Hermie III mistakes Mario for Santa Claus.
