Bob-ombs Away is a 1-vs-3 mini-game that is found in Mario Party 8.
Introduction
A player at the top on the ledge drops a Bob-omb onto the poles. The Bob-omb collides with each of poles as it falls in front of the solo player, exploding and surprising them. The player moves back to their, and the mini-game starts.
Gameplay
The three players on the ledge attempt to hit the solo player with Bob-ombs, while the solo player must avoid getting blown up. The three players won't have an easy win, as there are poles on the walls that bump the Bob-omb in different directions. On occasion, if two Bob-ombs are thrown at once and fall down the same gap, they may end up stuck; however, there is a chance that both would continue down the gap. If the solo player avoids getting blown up by a dropped Bob-omb, they win. If the solo player is blown up, however, the three players win.
Ending
At the end of the mini-game after the solo player is blasted out, the players all drop their Bob-ombs onto the poles that leads to the floor. The three players win and attempt to do a winning pose while the solo player is on a platform; appearing to be dizzy. If the solo player survives, the other three will get blasted to the ground while the player does a winning pose.
Trivia
- The game's title is a pun on 'Bombs Away'.
