Thunder Bros.

Thunder Bros. is a Bros. Attack used by Mario and Luigi in the game Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. The move costs six BP on Modes 1 and 2, and four BP on Mode 3. Luigi learns Thunder Bros. Luigi will start a ball of electricity using Thunderhand. When fully charged, pressing the B Button results in Luigi jumping on Mario. Another press on B Button at this time will send Luigi flying into the air, and one more B Button hit will allow Luigi to cast a thunderbolt below him, causing all enemies on the ground some damage. The attack, if performed correctly, always lowers the enemies' defense. The attack can also hit airborne enemies if the second command failed.

Once the attack has been successfully executed twenty-four times, the Advanced version is learned. In the Advanced version, Luigi damages only one enemy with more damage. To execute it, the player should press B after the initial charge. Before Luigi lands on Mario, pressing the A button makes Mario step backwards. A again to pound Luigi into the ground, and B again when Luigi's underneath his target. He'll attack with an electrifying uppercut that can even hit airborne enemies. The Advanced version, when performed correctly, will lower the enemy's attack power also.

How To Do

  Press B after Luigi charges his Thunderhand.

  Luigi will be on top of Mario now. Press B to have him jump off Mario and high above the enemy.

  Once Luigi is there, press B to cast a Thunderbolt, which damages all of the enemies on the ground.

  If the player has the Advanced version, press A right after Luigi jumps high in the air.

  Mario will step back and Luigi will land on where Mario was before. Press A to dunk Luigi in the ground.

  Luigi will move over to the enemy. Press B when he is right under the foe to cast a stroke of thunder which can also damage airborne enemies.
