Rhomps are a tube-shaped species of Thwomp that first appeared in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are mostly found in the Slipsand Galaxy where they attempt to flatten Mario in certain areas. They are very dangerous as they can instantly deplete Mario's health.

Trivia
- Their behavior and appearance make them resemble the mummy-like Spindels from Super Mario 64, they even posses the same attack pattern.
