Planet Plantaen

Template:Location-infobox Plantaen is a planet, the homeworld of the Xananab, seen during the events of DK Jungle Climber. This planet is banana shaped and is mostly forested with palm trees. There are many small villages with a great number of banana-shaped statues.

In the level there are Mini-Neckys and Zingers. This level also has a lot of pegs going around quickly. After exploring a portion of the planet, the Kongs and Xananab caught up with King K. Rool, and he challenged them to a battle. After defeating him, he still doesn't give up the Crystal Banana; instead, he uses the remaining Crystal Banana to power up to a large size. After defeating King K. Rool a second time, he will give up the final Crystal Banana.

The name is likely derived from the term plantain, which in itself is a type of banana.
