Spiky Snifits give two hints as to who they will attack. First, it will shift back and forth. If its right arm becomes visible, the enemy will attack Mario; if not, Luigi will be the target. Secondly, the Spiky Snifit may pretend to spit out something before actually attacking. If so, the object will travel on a low arc, and the Mario Bros. must jump to avoid it. If this step does not occur, the spat object will bounce harmlessly over the target's head. | Spiky Snifits give two hints as to who they will attack. First, it will shift back and forth.
