Hot air balloons have appeared in a couple of Mario Games. The first one that appeared was in [[Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World]] in the introduction where Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach go to Dinosaur Land for a vacation. When they arrive Mario and Luigi leave Peach unattended when she gets kidnapped and their suitcase is left there. The next hot air balloons appear in [[New Super Mario Bros. Wii]] where Mario rescues Princess Peach and Luigi and Yellow and Blue Toads come down. Luigi then lets Mario and Peach onto the balloon then Luigi tries to get into the balloon but it flies off.
