Dees are practically based on [[Wanderin' Goom]]s, as they won't hurt Wario as well. Red [[Bandinero]]s share the same behavior. Dee's name may be based off the waddle dees of the Kirby Series. The Japanese name of Marumen translates to "circle face."

Marumen[1] (まるメン) are purple, spherical enemies of Wario Land 4. They have a nose, and two feet. They won't hurt Wario in any way. Along with Spear-Masks, Marumen are the most common enemies in the whole game. They are mostly purple, but can turn into red as well, when Wario executes a Ground Pound near them.
