Slippas are a fairly common type of snake that is orange with black stripes. Their colouring resembles the coral snake, a venemous serpent found in several parts of the Earth.
Appearances
The first appearance of Slippas is in Donkey Kong Country where they, along with Gnawtys and Zingers are one of the most common enemies. Slippas also appear in Donkey Kong Land. They are essentially the same enemy in either game. Slippas are mostly found in mines, caves and occasionally factories. The boss Dumb Drum also creates Slippas.
Characteristics
Like most enemies, Slippas attempt to attack Donkey or Diddy by charging into them. However, the Kongs can jump on or roll over a Slippa to defeat it. Sometimes Oil Drums and other types of barrels will continually spawn an endless number of Slippas until destroyed.
