Their name is a mix of Swoopin' Stu and Poink, both from Sunshine. make note of that everyone. It could help us understand the storyline pre-release. Max2
Actually, the name is just conjectural. It was made by Kelt who pretty much made up the name.Knife (talk) 19:05, 23 February 2007 (EST)

Do these things actually apper in the game?
Seeing that information relating to these creatures have eyt to be added to the wiki, even after Galaxy release, I would say no. Glowsquid
They do appear in the game, though I can't recall ever seeing a purple one, they are all blue from what I can remember.

- Actually, the blue ones are a different kind of species. So...like Cosmic Toads, these guys are Beta. Paper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions)·
The image is the only thing that is beta, the article describes the enemies that actually appear in game. We simply need a new image of their blue in game appearance. --Tykyle 03:45, 15 February 2008 (EST)
- My mistake, I didn't remember they were in the game, except blue. I was thinking of the Shroob/Octorock creatures with blue "skin" and yellow dots. Paper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions)·GENO WHIRL!
I think it should be known that shooting one with a star bit yeilds to obtaining 3 star bits, as opposed to spinning one for one star bit. Learner 18:27, 4 March 2008 (EST)
