| '''Psycho Kamek''' is a strange, white-garbed [[Magikoopa]] hypnotist who lives in [[Little Fungitown]] during the events of ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga]]''. After [[Mario]] was diagnosed with [[Bean Fever]], [[Luigi]] had to go to [[Guffawha Ruins]] to retrieve [[Crabbie Grass]]. However, Luigi lacked courage to go on his own, so he visited Psycho Kamek to help him get his courage back. Psycho Kamek put a spell on Luigi to make him think he was Mario, giving him confidence.

| Psycho Kamek seems to be a bit senile, attempting to hypnotize a [[Toad (species)|Toad]] into believing he was a Toad; he can also sometimes be seen purposely trying to hypnotize himself in front of a mirror. This has caused the residents of Little Fungitown to begin to refer to him as Psycho Kamek. There are also speculations that [[Kamek]] and Psycho Kamek are the same person (the latter being older), but this has been disproved because Kamek appears as young as he was during the events of ''[[Super Princess Peach]]'' and the [[Mario Party (series)|''Mario Party'' series]], among other games.
