The Dark Sproing-Oing is an enemy in Super Paper Mario found only in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials (rooms 32 and 44). Just like every other enemy in the pit, they are colored pitch black. Their attack pattern is similar to that of the other members of the Sproing-Oing family: they bounce around, trying to land on Mario's head. They also split into three smaller Dark Sproing-Oings when defeated. However, if enough damage is dealt fast enough, they will not split. They are the strongest kind of Sproing-Oing.
