Tiptup is a fictional, clumsy turtle who served as a playable racer in Diddy Kong Racing and its remake Diddy Kong Racing DS. As his creator, Rare, Ltd., retained usage rights of the character, the turtle has made several non-playable appearances throughout the Banjo series. These appearances reveal that after living on Timber's island, he moved to Banjo's world where he went on to conduct a turtle chorus and later raise a large family.
