A Birdo Egg from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

Although Mario Kart: Double Dash!! has proven that Birdos can spit pink Yoshi Eggs, most Birdo Eggs are non-spotted. A Birdo will spit Birdo Eggs out of its cannon-like snout, and use the eggs like bullets. The player can Jump on these to get a free ride. These look just like plain white eggs.

The Eggs appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee, on Mushroom Kingdom 2, Birdo shoots out the eggs nad the characters can jump on them, it can also cause damage to the characters.

In Mario Kart: Double Dash!! these eggs were provided as an alternate to Yoshi Eggs. Like Yoshi Eggs their homing capabilities are amazing and release three random items(when hit someone or a thing), which could be a Bob-omb, Star, Mushroom, Red or Green Shell, Fake Item Box, or Banana.

In various videogames, the Birdo Egg appears as the Birdo emblem.

In Captain Rainbow, Birdo Eggs can be seen mounted on either side of Birdo's House.
