Each shop is divided into two sections; the yellow sections has an employee with a matching yellow hat sell items that the player can buy with global gold coins, while the purple sections have a similar employee with a purple hat who requires the player to spend purple regional coins to buy things. Their wares include various outfits and hats. The yellow side also sells Life-Up Hearts, and the purple side also sells souvenir stickers and models. The yellow side also has a closet for changing clothing. Crazy Cap stores play their theme music on a loop, and can be heard in the overworld once approaching the store.
