Ultra Crusher[1] is the third boss of Solar Striker and the second that Mario faces in the game adaptation in the Super Mario Land 4 manga. It is a tank of Reticulon Army that shoots lasers. In the manga, one of Reticulon's duck people is seen driving the tank.
After defeating Epikhan, Mario enters Reticulon's atmosphere and reaches the city stage, where Ultra Crusher awaits him with the captured Āreku Taichō. He claim to have surrender and that the Federation can take their captain back. Smelling a trap, Mario exits the SolarStriker and get near the captain, only to discover him to be a puppet. Ultra Crusher then shoots him, apparently killing him.
