Captain Toad Takes a Spin, otherwise known as World Star-Captain Toad, is the Captain Toad level of World Star in Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. It is available as soon as the player unlocks World Star.

Layout

This level is unique in that Captain Toad is able to spin the course using various switches. This feature must be used to collect the Green Stars and get out of various situations. A Super Mushroom is found below the platform that Captain Toad begins the level on.

Green Stars

  • Green Star 1: The player should hit the first switch, then move past the Fizzlit to get this Green Star.
  • Green Star 2: After the first green star, the player must drop down to the lower part of the area to get this Green Star.
  • Green Star 3: The player must drop back down to the ground and walk around the area to get this Green Star.
  • Green Star 4: Protected by two Fizzlits. The player has to drop down from the third Green Star and use the camera to locate this Green Star.
  • Green Star 5: The player must hit the switch in the area with the fourth Green Star and drop on a Fizzlit to make the path to the Green Star.
