Acorn Trees[1] are a type of tree introduced in New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U, with a large one being the landmark of Acorn Plains. The trees grow Super Acorns, the item that transforms Mario into Flying Squirrel Mario. The larger Acorn Tree's base itself resembles two acorns.

In the beginning of New Super Mario Bros. Regular Acorn Trees appear in Super Mario Run as kingdom decorations. Each can be purchased for 300 coins in the shop or obtained at random in Remix 10 mode. The item's description explains that multiple Acorn Trees grow in Acorn Plains, which aligns with backgrounds in New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U that depict multiple smaller acorn trees.

Minecraft

The large Acorn Tree appears in the premade world for the Super Mario Mash-up in Minecraft.
