Painted Pipeworks, or Soda Jungle-4, is the fourth course of Soda Jungle in New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked by completing Boo's Favorite Haunt. Completing this level normally leads back to the first point after Boo's Favorite Haunt, but completing this level via its secret exit reveals the true path through Soda Jungle and by extension Sumo Bro Bridge and Wiggler Floodlands.
Layout[edit]
The level starts in a jungle near three Piranha Plants, two of which are in moving Warp Pipes. A ? Block is then found. Some Warp Pipes are found moving in and out of poison, with a Red Ring found above. A Piranha Plant is then found in one of the Warp Pipes. A stationary blue Warp Pipe is then found, followed by a group of four rotating Warp Pipes. Some moving Warp Pipes are then found above the poison, some of which contain Piranha Plants. Some stationary Warp Pipes are then found, along with two swinging Warp Pipes with Piranha Plants in them. Luigi then arrives in an area with the Goal Pole in sight.
Star Coins[edit]
- Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is found on top of a rotating Warp Pipe with a Piranha Plant in it. Luigi must stand on top of the Warp Pipe safely without touching the poison to collect it.
- Star Coin 2: The second Star Coin is located between two moving Warp Pipes. Luigi must wall kick between the two moving Warp Pipes to collect it.
- Star Coin 3: The third Star Coin is found just above the poison between two red Warp Pipes near the end of the level. Luigi must jump down to collect the Star Coin then wall kick back out safely without touching the poison.
Secret exit[edit]
This level's secret exit can be found by entering a red Warp Pipe found by climbing on top of a swinging blue Warp Pipe found near the end of the level. The red Warp Pipe leads to an area with the secret Goal Pole, which reveals a true path through the forest.
Luigi sightings[edit]
- If Luigi takes the path to the secret exit, a painting of Luigi can be found within the area.
