Fire Octopus is an enemy from the game Virtual Boy Wario Land, only appearing in Stage 11. Fire Octopuses occupy certain areas of the stage where the flooring is made up of flames. When Wario moves across the blocks above the flames, the Fire Octopuses below begin to jump into the air, smashing any blocks they come into contact with. As they fall, they flip themselves around so the spikes on their head point towards the ground. This allows them to break any remaining blocks, as well as harm Wario if he happens to be standing below. The floor also shakes whenever a Fire Octopus hits a block.

Unlike many other enemies, Fire Octopuses cannot be defeated by the flames of Sea Dragon or King Dragon Wario. Instead, bumping or Barging them on the side can knock the Fire Octopuses off the screen.

The faces of these octopuses bear a heavy resemblance to those of Gunions from Super Mario Land, the octopus from Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, and Octohōn from Wario Land 3.
