New article / image uploads

One or more pages that you have recently created have been deleted or marked as a stub article (Nintendo Direct). Please consider the following ideas and suggestions when expanding/creating an article: Before saving a new page, be sure that you have put as much effort and information in the article as you can. Make sure that the page follows all of the rules that are outlined in the Manual of Style. Perhaps upload a few images that can be used on the article. Please don't take this notice as a dejection; this is just an informative notice and we encourage you to keep contributing.

Hello, SMBros. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups: Images Audio/video files Company images Film images Game images Merchandise images Publication images System images Television series images Website images Company media files Film media files Game media files Merchandise media files Publication media files System media files Television series media files Website media files When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]] or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Hello, SMBros! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros. If you are using a device that uses curly ("smart") punctuation, you may need to disable this function in your device's settings to be able to type out the correct apostrophes.

The new article is an improvement, and the images are a good addition. However, while using another article as a template is fine, please don't copy and paste directly from another article while the info you're copying still refers to the old game/article (there were still references to the "comedic tutorials" which don't apply to the new game, and to microgames with "italic font" and a "list of forms" when you haven't added a list yet). Appropriate content for talk pages

My guy, show a little restraint, please. While not inherently inappropriate (it was based on an official screenshot, after all), please note that this is a very chaste franchise (well except some of the Wario games and early manga) and bringing up sexualized stuff (fanart especially - Peach attracts that stuff like a magnet) on a wiki that does its best to keep itself professional and reflective of the official content is really jarring. This isn't like, say, Shantae or Darkstalkers where part of the lighthearted nature is sexual-based humor, it's a franchise meant for all ages, where we could feasibly have children as young as 6 visiting.
