Whohoos[1] are horned owl enemies that appear in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, appearing only in the level Pokipede Pass. They roost on nests atop ceilings; when they spot the player, they will swoop down in an arc-like motion towards the player's direction, destroying any snow blocks in their way. Due to their heavy, seemingly sedentary bodies, they will return to their nest after a short flight.[1] They can easily be taken out with any attack. Their name may be a pun on "woohoo", an exclamation for excitement; "who"; and "hoo", an onomatopoeia for an owl's hoot.
