Super Mario Bros. Deluxe is a remake of the Nintendo game Super Mario Bros. on the Game Boy Color. When collecting 100,000 points, the player will be awarded a mode where the player gets to race Boo to the end of any level. When collecting a total of 300,000 points, the player can play Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (called Super Mario Bros. For Super Players in this game), but it is actually a modification of Super Mario Bros. rather than a port of Lost Levels, thus the physics and graphics are the same and level design is altered somewhat to accomodate Marios physics. The game is compatible with the Game Boy Printer, so the player can print stickers and banners. The game recieved critical acclaim for a number of things, such as bringing back the original Super Mario Bros. for a whole younger generation to play the classic, the boo challanges, and including the Lost Levels . Another feature was that when playing individual levels you could find a yoshi egg and 5 red coins that resembled yoshis hidden somewhere on that level on a Challenge Mode where you can also compete against your best score in the original levels.
