Doll Boy sits atop three barrels. He attacks by throwing [[hammer]]s at [[Wario]]. Wario touching the hammers transforms him into [[Bouncy Wario]]. As Bouncy Wario cannot stay within the arena due to constantly bouncing atop the thin platforms, he will essentially be ejected from battle, requiring Wario to reenter the room to restart the battle. While Doll Boy is on a barrel, he will throw hammers in four different arcs in a cycle, starting with a short toss and gradually throwing further. If Wario is in the same row as Doll Boy, he will throw a hammer in a straight line towards Wario, which can be avoided by crouching.

Species Daruma doll
First appearance Wario Land 3 (2000)

The Doll Boy[1] is a giant Daruma doll and a boss in Wario Land 3, where he appears in The Volcano's Base. In his battle, Doll Boy sits atop three barrels and attacks by throwing hammers at Wario. If one of Doll Boy's hammers touches Wario, he turns into Bouncy Wario on contact and is forcefully ejected from the arena, forcing him to restart the battle. While Doll Boy is on a barrel, he will throw hammers in four different arcs in a cycle, starting with a short toss and gradually throwing further. If Wario is in the same row as Doll Boy, he will throw a hammer in a straight line towards Wario, which can be avoided by crouching. Wario can defeat Doll Boy by striking the barrels when they flash, and once every barrel gone, the Doll Boy glows green and cruises around the area, trying to hit Wario with his hammers. Bumping on Doll Boy in any manner, including jumping on him or using a Dash Attack except from the front while his hammer is exposed, will stun him, after which a Dash Attack will defeat him. After the boss's defeat, a hammer with an up arrow will float up and down for Wario to ride to the door that leads to the Gray Chest, containing the Lead Overalls.
