The sun[1][2][3] is an invulnerable enemy that appears in Wario Land 3. It appears in the daytime, flying around and spewing fireballs at Wario that trigger Hot Wario if touched, causing him to run in a frenzy. This enemy appears in The Vast Plain and The Colossal Hole. In the latter, if Wario is below the sky, the sun does not pursue him. It does not appear during the night. Instead, it is replaced by Mr. Moon.
The sun's appearance is similar to that of the Angry Sun from Super Mario Bros. 3, and it shares the same generic name in Japanese.
