Next Level Games is a Canadian video game company that has made four Mario video games, namely Super Mario Strikers, Mario Strikers Charged, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, and Luigi's Mansion 3. The company was also listed as special thanks in the Nintendo 3DS version of Luigi's Mansion, and they were the developers of Super Mario Spikers until development of said game was canceled in favor of the Wii version of Punch-Out!!. In addition to this, they have created other sports titles for the Nintendo GameCube (and competing consoles).

Due to the success of their games for Nintendo, the studio co-founder, Jason Carr, announced that they would be working exclusively with Nintendo following the release of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.[1] On January 5, 2021, Nintendo announced that it had acquired 100% stake in Next Level Games, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary.[2]
