Not to be confused with Hot Monster.

Template:Kart-infobox The Red Monster is a set of unlockable tires in Mario Kart 7. They offer good speed, weight, and off-road, while hindering the acceleration and handling stats. Compared to the Monster tires, however, the Red Monster tires' acceleration is increased by a smaller rate, while their weight is slightly lower. They're tied with the Monster tires for the best off-road boost in the game. They're also tied with the Monster tires, the Slick tires, and the Gold Tires, for the lowest handling boost. The Red Monster and Monster are also the only tires that can drift off-road.

A similar tire part called the Hot Monster appears in Mario Kart 8; this tire, however, is statistically identical to the game's Monster tires.

The Red Monster tires return in Mario Kart Tour, where they are used by the Rambi Rider. Black versions are used by the Dozer Dasher and the Dark Buggy, and silver versions with a different appearance are used by the Rambi Runner. Unlike their last appearance, the tires now have the Mario Kart logo printed on them.
