They added a new game style! And four new themes!

Multiplayer!

Endless possibility.
Story Mode is forgettable.

Outstanding courses receive as much attention as poorly designed courses.

I find myself constantly taking breaks from this game, not in a good way.

A lot of people want new game styles added. The way I see it, if Nintendo adds a game mode, they're less likely to actually port the game in the future.
Greatly improved from the original, though there are a few flaws. As mentioned, the Story Mode is pretty overrated, and the template levels are honestly not that great. I love playing courses other people create, though I often find myself taking down my own levels without a second thought.

I found myself constantly removing and reverting anything I added, obsessing over how it looked. Keep in mind, though I prefer this setup, as it is much more organized than a bullet list, it is especially vulnerable to change at any time.
