The Pokémon Trainer is a new character for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He is the main male character of the games in the Pokémon series that took place in the Kanto region. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, he will stay in the background, and use three Pokémon, Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard to fight for him. His down special move, Pokémon Change, will switch out between these three Pokémon. This is also the very first time this kind of fighting style has ever been used in the Super Smash Bros. series.
