- This article is about Flame Chomp Ferris Wheel, a level in New Super Luigi U. For other uses, see Meringue Clouds-5.
Template:Levelbox Flame Chomp Ferris Wheel, or Meringue Clouds-5, is the fifth level of Meringue Clouds in New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked by completing Vanishing Ghost House's main exit. Clearing the level gives access to Three-Headed Snake Block.
Layout
The player starts on a portion of the ground, followed by four rotating platforms, acting as Ferris Wheels, above a pit. Flame Chomps are found throughout the section, and a ? Block containing a power-up is at the center of the second Ferris Wheel platform. Another portion of terrain appears, followed by Ferris Wheels with six platforms on them, as well as Big Piranha Plants and more Flame Chomps. Another section of Ferris Wheel platforms follows, along with a Red Ring. Flame Chomps appear throughout the section, and the Goal Pole is found after the rotating platforms.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is located at the bottom of the third Ferris Wheel platform, and can be collected by riding on the platform.
- Star Coin 2: The second Star Coin is located on a Ferris Wheel in the section of the level with Big Piranha Plants, and the player must jump onto the Ferris Wheel and ride it to collect the Star Coin
- Star Coin 3: Right before the Goal Pole, the player can either glide with the Flying Squirrel suit or as Peachette or bounce off of the Flame Chomp to reach the third Star Coin.
Luigi Sighting
- A cloud resembling Luigi can be seen in the background.
