World 7-6 is a level in World 7 in the game, New Super Mario Bros..
Layout
The beginning of this level is built on Mushroom Platforms. The level starts near a ? Block containing a power-up, as well as some Koopa Paratroopas. More Koopa Paratroopas follow along with Koopa Troopas. A Brick Block round next to a Mushroom Platform above a pit can be hit with a Koopa Shell, releasing a 1-Up Mushroom. A few more Mushroom Platforms are found, with some Koopa Troopas and Koopa Paratroopas. Piranha Plants are located in Warp Pipes. Following another Mushroom Platform with three Koopa Paratroopas, the midway point is found. Two Koopa Paratroopas are found around a structure of Brick Blocks and a ? Block containing a power-up. More grassy platforms follow, with more Koopa Paratroopas and Piranha Plants encountered. After a row of Koopa Paratroopas, a structure of Brick Blocks with Koopa Troopas on it is found. More Koopa Paratroopas are encountered, followed by the flagpole.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1 - The first Star Coin can be found floating in midair right before the pipe leading to the secret exit.
- Star Coin 2 - The second Star Coin is in a closed in area after the midway point. It is guarded by two Koopa Paratroopas. It must be accessed by the lower path and jump up to the platform.
- Star Coin 3 - To earn the final Star Coin, the player must enter a yellow pipe beyond the location of the second Star Coin. With good timing, the player needs to jump across the Koopa Paratroopas flying in midair in order to get to the pipe off to the right. The other side of the pipe will have the third Star Coin.
Secret Exit
At the midway point, there are two rows of Brick Blocks. The player has to break the middle block on the top row first. Then they have to hit a Hidden Block that is in the same position but on the bottom row, and climb the Beanstalk that emerges from it. Then, the player has to ride the moving mushroom-like platform across to a pipe, where the secret exit is held. On a side note, if the player does not take this exit, the path on the map leads them back to World 7-4.
